MATERIAL DESCRIPTION

Dunnage bags basics

The basic construction of any dunnage bag is the combination of two major parts.

  • The IN-LINER (also called a bladder or balloon) holds the compressed air tight at high pressure levels.
  • The OUT-LINER (the cover) gives shape, stability, and enormous strength to the dunnage air bag. The strength of a Kraft paper air bag depends on the out-liner’s material thickness and number of layers.

Material

All our IN-LINER dunnage bags are made of a special extruded polyethylene (PE-mixture) with the guarantee of perfect tightness even under high pressure. For the OUT-LINER, we use layers of special extensible Kraft Paper or PP (Polypropylene) Woven Fabric with a very high tensile strength to match all applications.

Valve system

Valves allow you to fill up airbags much faster with specially designed air-filling devices. The 'Venturi' effect saves up to 50% of inflation time. However, our valves are compatible with most of the air-filling devices that are being used by industries.
